These are for a post card swap I am in. Having so much fun with these.

Dive Challenge #126

This was a fun challenge called the 2 string. You take 2 pencils and put rubber band around them to hold them together. Then draw a string on your paper. I drew 3 on mine and then tangled all around. I used Bilt, Chard, Florz, Peaks Border, Zinger and not sure on a couple of the others in there.

I am trying to play catch up with my Dare's and Challenges. From the first time I looked at this template it made me think of bunnies. So Bunnies they are! This was so much fun to do. I used my copic marker s to shade.

Diva's Challenge #126

Diva's Challenge # 126 - Stencils
I have always wanted to do an art doll, Zentangle was perfect for her. I opted for a different head and used my copic markers on her face. The stencil is by PSX and has been in my stash for about 10 years, not sure they still make it.

I will be making more of these! Very fun indeed!

Zendala and Monotangles #17

 Seems I cannot follow directions! Lol I was suppose to pick tangles that started with the letters that spelled Hot or Heat. I do not know how to take my name off the entries for the challenge. So to those who followed the rules....yeah....as for me.......I'm sorry.
 I do need to learn the names of my tangles! I have started making notes, but cannot find the names of any of my tangles used today except for Hibred in-between the flowers..

Monotangles #16

The Crescent Moon Tangle is one I use a lot on my pieces. It's easy and fun and you can use it in multiple ways. I love shading to give it some depth.

Celtic Challenge #29

This is the first time I have done the Celtic Challenge. One thing led to another and this is how it turned out. I do like it though, little roses were fun. I so seem to like line work also, it shows up in a lot of my tangles.

Zendala Dare #61

I loved working this zendala, I used Sindoo, and not sure what the other is called, maybe Hibred?
It kind of reminds me of pine trees. I love shading this one.

Monotangle #13 Shard

This is a new one for me. Had some troubles with straight lines and lines over lapping. Need to work on making the line meet at the connecting line. But this was a fun one. Nothing but shards.

Artist Trading Cards

I joined a group on FB called Zentangle Artist Trading Card Swap
It takes the drawing field down a notch in size 2.5 x 3.5.
But what fun to share your love of Zentangles with others all over the world!
Here are a few I have finished. I have just started playing with color. Now remember......I am no Artist! But I feel with practice I will find what satisfies my creative juices. I have just ordered a set of Derwent Coloursoft Pencils and cannot wait to try them out.

Diva Weekly Challenge #119: "Ebony and Ivory"

This is my first "I am the Diva Challenge". I am so new at this and very critical of my work. But putting the negative thoughts aside and pushing on.......the positives are......this is fun, relaxing, and with practice I will improve. This challenge was called "Ebony and Ivory". Working the light and dark in your design.
I love "inapod", so thought of reversing the color. I was stumped on what to do after I got that done so used something from my head....lol....not sure if it has a name. I looked through all the tangles on tanglepatterns.com and could not find one like this. I found something similar called Florz, but they use triangles instead of circles.
Anyway.......this is what spoke to me today.

Zendala Dare #58

I found this cool website called "The Bright Owl"
She has weekly dares. I thought I would give it a shot. I really like the outcome. I can see the depth and the part with the red reminds me of pinecones. I love the flowers coming out the top. This was fun!

Stencil Zentangle

So I was thinking of doing some cards with Zentangle incorporated on the fronts. I used a stencil for the butterflies overlapping the one. I opted to shade the background. What fun!

Class with CZT

Thankful to my friend Trish, who found out about a Zentangle Class here in Gaylord! I was so excited. We had a wonderful CZT teacher Sheryl A. Lamarand. These are the two I did in class May 11, 2013.
