Diva Weekly Challenge #119: "Ebony and Ivory"

This is my first "I am the Diva Challenge". I am so new at this and very critical of my work. But putting the negative thoughts aside and pushing on.......the positives are......this is fun, relaxing, and with practice I will improve. This challenge was called "Ebony and Ivory". Working the light and dark in your design.
I love "inapod", so thought of reversing the color. I was stumped on what to do after I got that done so used something from my head....lol....not sure if it has a name. I looked through all the tangles on tanglepatterns.com and could not find one like this. I found something similar called Florz, but they use triangles instead of circles.
Anyway.......this is what spoke to me today.

  11. Great job. Your shading gives this a quilted effect. Would echo Daniele's greeting and also highlight what you said in your post, "...this is fun, relaxing..." That is a very important part of Zentangle®.

    1. Thank you Donald. For some reason every comment I get from my blog has your name on it in my email inbox. I do not know what happened or how to fix it. It says

  13. You did an amazing job - inapod is one of my favorites and I use it often, but never considered doing it in the negative - I LOVE that look, especially with both versions on the same tile. Your background Florz is perfect with wonderful shading! Welcome and I hope we see you each week!
